Construction

TYPE 1(Metallic Screened):
1: Phase Conductor: Circular compacted stranded aluminium

2: Conductor Screen layer: Extruded semi-conductive compound.

3: Insulation: XLPE

4: Insulation Screen layer: Extruded semi-conductive compound.

5: Metallic Screen(optional): Copper wire screen(CWS) or copper tape screen(CTS).

6: Separator layer: non-hygroscopic tape.

7: Outer Sheath(optional): PE/XLPE/PVC, UV-resistant.

8: Support Conductor: Stranded Galvanized steel wires or Aluminium alloy wires

9: Support Conductor insulation (optional): PE/XLPE/PVC, UV-resistant.
Core identification(optional): Colors tape or numbers.
Assembly: Three XLPE insulated screened cores are bundled around the galvanized steel wires in a right hand lay.
